Derrimon Trading adding a touch of beauty to Central Branch All-Age School

The Derrimon Trading Company Limited marked Labour Day with the execution of its beautification project at the Central Branch All-Age School located on Slipe Pen Road.

Spearheaded by the team at Woodcats International Ltd – a subsidiary of the group, senior executives of Derrimon Trading, including Executive Director and Group Human Resource Manager Monique Cotterell and Chief Marketing Officer Kim Lee were also joined by team members from another subsidiary of the company, Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances.

Derrimon Trading says it remains ‘nimble with price adjustments’

Derrimon Trading, which operates retail stores Sampars Cash and Carry and Select Grocers, is reporting a 5.7 per cent increase in revenues for its first quarter ending March 31, 2022, as the global economic slowdown affects some of its business lines.

The three months consolidated results of the group reflected an increased revenue of $4.24 billion, marginally up from the $4.01 billion reported for the comparative period last year.

Derrimon accelerates opening Select Grocers subsidiary in Clarendon

Jamaican distribution group, Derrimon Trading Limited (DTL) is accelerating the build out of the new Select Grocers Limited subsidiary at the Millennium Mall in Mineral Heights, Clarendon.

The store, which is scheduled for opening this summer, is slated to be the largest supermarket in central Jamaica. The good news comes, as DTL reported stable financial results for the March quarter, which saw the successful completion of its latest acquisition, Spicy Hills Farms Limited and increased revenue.
