Derrimon Trading Company Limited Supports The Annual Sagicor Sigma ‘Honour’ Run
Derrimon Trading Company Limited (DTL) demonstrated its support of the annual Sagicor Sigma ‘Honour’ Run by participating in the 2024 staging of the transformative event. Held on Sunday, February 18, the 5K Run brought together individuals to create a lasting impact on the lives of Jamaican families in need. A total of 125 of the employees, including four of its executive members, represented DTL, showcasing their commitment to the noble cause. Their participation directly benefited the event’s three beneficiaries: The National Chest Hospital, Savanna-la-Mar Public General Hospital and Danny Williams School for the Deaf.
“Sagicor Sigma Run is the ultimate symbol of unity, bringing together thousands of people from across the island to support a noble cause which aligns with DTL’s values of community engagement and social responsibility. We here at DTL are happy to once again be a part of this transformative event, especially during our 25th year. Not only does the Sagicor Sigma Run bring people together for a worthy cause, but it also offers the opportunity to foster teamwork and camaraderie, allowing participants to support each other towards the finish line. We look forward to showing up for the 2025 staging with an even bigger Derrimon Trading team to play our part in contributing to our wider community and Jamaica at large,” shared Georgia Strachan, Group Brand Manager, DTL.
DTL’s participation in the Sagicor Sigma Honour Run shows the company’s belief in the power of collective action and community involvement. By participating in such a transformative event DTL is not only supporting wellness and teamwork internally but is also contributing to the development of the island’s medical infrastructure and securing a better future for Jamaican families islandwide.
