DERRIMON TRADING COMPANY LIMITED CELEBRATES LONG-SERVING EMPLOYEES WITH PRESTIGIOUS SERVICE AWARDS

(Kingston, Jamaica) In an effort to recognise and honour the dedication and commitment of its long-serving employees, as part of their 25th Anniversary celebrations, Derrimon Trading Company Limited (DTL) hosted its Long Service Awards on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at The AC Hotel by Marriott. The recipients of the Long Service Awards were recognised for their years of service, ranging from 10 to 35 years, symbolising their enduring commitment to the organisation.

Our organisation isn’t solely defined by its physical assets and products; it’s about the people. We want our employees to feel valued and respected, knowing that we deeply appreciate them. The Long Service Awards programme serves as a testament to the company’s appreciation for the hard work, loyalty, and passion exhibited by employees who have been integral to the organisation’s success.

DTL recognises the success and growth it has experienced over the years and sees this as directly tied to the unwavering dedication of its employees. During the well-attended function, 87 workers were recognised. Among them, Lousie Jackson, an employee of Arosa Limited, a subsidiary of the DTL Group, was honoured for her remarkable 35 years of service to the company.

“I’ve been with Arosa since 1988, and it has been an incredible journey of continuous learning. My depth of knowledge in this industry is a testament to my time here. Every day presents new opportunities for growth, ensuring there’s never a dull moment. I’m immensely grateful for the recognition of my 35 years of service, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to the company’s management for their appreciation and support,” expressed Jackson.

The event included a gala dinner, a performance by guest artiste, Kevin Downswell, musical pieces presented by the company’s employees and speeches from company executives, highlighting the significance of the employees’ tenure and the valuable role they play within the organisation. The company remains committed to fostering a culture of appreciation and recognition for its employees and looks forward to continuing its tradition of honouring excellence in the years to come.
